Hello! I'm Susanna, a third-year physics major and electrical engineering minor at UC Berkeley. I'm passionate about science education and outreach, and love helping students achieve their full potential in STEM classes! With each student, I focus on creating a personalized plan to best meet their classroom needs.
My work experience includes two years as an elementary school robotics coach, several years of private tutoring, and working in a STEM outreach non-profit. I've worked with students of all ages, from all walks of life, in many different settings, and am dedicated to creating a curriculum for each student that will help them succeed.
My physics research background is primarily in materials science and nanomaterials. Most recently, however, I've worked with the astrophysics department of the Max Planck Institute for Physics, as part of a summer internship. This hands-on experience has given me a strong base of practical physics knowledge to draw on in teaching, as well as training in communicating complex ideas with others.
Please see my LinkedIn for further details on my work experience (https://www.linkedin.com/in/susanna-weber-9693291a5/), and I hope to meet you soon!
