I am a senior double-major at Indiana Wesleyan University studying Spanish Education and Writing. I have worked as a tutor in IWU's writing center and foreign language center, helping other college students draft and polish essays or work on their Spanish skills.
As you may have guessed, I tutor all levels of Spanish (from beginner to college level) as well as English language and literature (essay writing).
Through my previous tutoring experiences and my teacher training, I have learned to adapt quickly to individual student's learning styles. I have cultivated an attitude of patience, open-mindedness, and flexibility toward my students. A tutoring session with me is a time of cooperation and steady progress; I value my students' goals and want to ensure they reach them long-term.
When I am not speaking in Spanish or writing an essay, I love to read, especially outside in the sunshine, and spend time with my cat, Esther (who also enjoys the sunshine). I also enjoy knitting, and have just started to learn to knit stuffed animals!
