I am extremely passionate about math! I am one to make sure that whenever I learn something new, I fully understand it. This is one of the reasons I was drawn to proof-based mathematics. Nothing is more satisfying than proving a statement!
As a third-year college student at CU Boulder studying mathematics, I have learned and experienced many different ways of thinking. I strongly believe that everyone is capable of truly understanding mathematics. The rhetoric of "not being a math person" is simply not true! There are many different correct ways of thinking about math: we just need to fine the one that works for each person. It is my goal to make sure that I help each student find what works best for them!
When I'm not doing math, you can find me skiing, hiking, playing disk golf or playing board games. I absolutely love board games!
I am here to help make the math experience a much less painful one. I strive for a world where students do not feel alienated or lost in their math studies.
