I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan studying Biology, Health and Society with a minor in Gender, Race and Nation. In addition, I am applying to Medical School next spring with the hopes of getting into a M.D. M.P.H. program. During my time at the University of Michigan, I have been involved in a pre-health honor society, Alpha Epsilon Delta, where I currently hold the position of Secretary. I also have been involved in research regarding the sociodemographic predictors of patient age at time of cleft lip and palate repair. While I tutor in a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Mathematics and Chemistry. In my experience helping struggling students, we seem to have the best results when we understand together how the student best learns the material. I have found that it is of utmost importance to help the students find a way to study that benefit their learning style most. Watching the students grow in their educational journey is easily one of the most rewarding aspects of the job. In my spare time, I love to go on long walks with my dog, watch my Michigan Wolverines play basketball, and read medical journals.
