I have a B.Sc from U.C. Berkeley in Genetics and a Masters in Biology from U Oregon. In college, I took the more rigorous courses in Math and Sciences as a challenge to better prepare myself. Later in life I taught high school Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy and Physiology, and Forensic Sciences. I was able to help many students pass their Texas science test after failing the first time. I find what the student is doing right and build from there. I want the student to understand why to do something, not just memorizing what to do. My other interests include tennis, history books, and math puzzle websites, like Mind Your Decisions by Presh Talwalker. I consider myself to be an upbeat and a possibility thinker.
