I graduated in 2017 from the University of California Santa Barbara with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry. During my undergrad I worked in a variety of labs from mechanical engineering to physical chemistry and spent Thursday mornings teaching basic chemistry to fifth graders. Rugby is a big part of my life and I played all through college. As one of the few science majors on the team I frequently spent time helping my teammates with general chemistry, math (algebra and calculus), and organic chemistry.
I currently work as a research technician for a small biotec company doing cloning, enzyme work, instrument building, and field work. In my free time I still play rugby and also enjoy spending time with my dogs and exploring St. Louis.
