I am a high school mathematics teacher who enjoys working with all kinds of students. I believe math can and should be an approachable and fun subject that anyone can master. I also have experience working with Deaf/hard-of-hearing students and am professionally proficient in American Sign Language.
I have an undergraduate degree from Brown University and a masters in Deaf Education from Boston University. I have been a classroom teacher for three years, with experience teaching both math and English language arts. I have worked as a tutor or in other one-on-one educational settings all throughout high school, college, and graduate school.
Outside of academia, I am an avid rock climber and an on-and-off runner. I also love to spend time near the ocean, no matter the season.
