I have a strong interest in helping students from all backgrounds with academics and specifically subjects that seem intimidating but in reality have not been explained in a way tailored to the student. There was a point in my life when I struggled with academics, until I met a teacher that explained subjects in a way I could grasp and believed in me. This is what I hope to do with my students. I am not naturally a good test taker, but was able to increase my MCAT by over 10 points in a few months with certain strategies that I hope to also pass on to my students. I believe in helping the student in other aspects of life other than just academics. If a student is interested in any goal, I believe I can teach them the necessary strategies and mindset to achieve what they want. I graduated with honors from Case Western Reserve University with a bachelors in Physics and minor in Chemistry. I am now a medical student in Boston and hope to not only make the student memorize the information but make the information reducible and relatable so that it becomes intuitive and engrained in long term memory.
