There is this Chinese saying,",." It translates to "live till old, learn till old." I've heard people say it means that you're never too old to learn, or if you're still learning when you're old that means you've been living well. I believe that we are always learning, we can't help it. Human beings are naturally curious. No matter the age, learning is a two way process. In addition to transferring information (which can be easily done by a computer or book), good teachers help find and unlock their student's inherent curiosity and thirst for understanding. Then they encourage the student to open that unlocked door and walk through it alone.
