Hi, my name is Samuel. I have a bachelor's in science in organic chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign. I am finishing a master's in molecular biology at SIUE. I plan to attend medical school this coming fall.
My qualifications include 7 years of experience in both one-on-one and group setting tutoring and teaching. I started as a supplemental instructor in organic chemistry. I was also an independent tutor throughout my undergraduate education for high school courses and ACT prep. Later, as a graduate student, I was a teaching assistant for molecular and general biology.
What I find most rewarding about tutoring is the ability to see others set and achieve goals. I find it satisfying to meet difficult goals and find even greater enjoyment in watching others progress and achieve their own goals. I prefer to work with motivated students who genuinely wish to improve themselves.
I am excited at the prospect of working with you and wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors.
