Hi! I am currently a first-year student at Saint Louis University studying Communications with a focus in Journalism and Media Studies. I also hope to minor in African American Studies and Urban Poverty Studies. With this degree I hope to pursue a career in Photojournalism, but I am open to many different career options. Before moving to Saint Louis for college, I participated in clubs at my high school in Louisville, KY that offered me with many tutoring opportunities. My favorite of these clubs was National English Honor Society, through which I tutored kids at the Cabbage Patch Settlement House. Upon arriving at SLU, I have become part of a service and faith based learning community. For this I complete weekly service at a Saint Louis Montessori school where I facilitate activities and homework help for third through sixth grade students. My favorite and strongest subjects are definitely English and Writing, but I also enjoy Math and Science. I also would be happy to assist in the college application/essay writing process. When I'm not studying or working, my favorite things to do are cross-stitching, photography, reading, watching shows on Netflix and spending time with my friends.
