I am a graduate of Seton Hall University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Special Education as well as a double major in Biology. I also have a Master's Degree from Marygrove College in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. Most recently, I became a certified Google Educator. I have taught at my current district for over 10 years, and have served as a home bound tutor for most of this time as well. I really enjoy helping students prepare for teaching exams, and have some great resources and test-taking strategies. Additionally, I teach at the adult high school.
I have taught various science classes, including biology, environmental science, physical science and earth science. In addition, I have taught as an inclusion teacher in algebra and english. I'm passionate about helping students learn, and helping them develop and achieve goals that transcend the classroom. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two kids. Some of my hobbies including fitness, hiking and scuba diving.
