My name is Luke Dennin, and I am a twenty-three-year-old from Pittsburgh, PA. I recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master's Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Before obtaining my graduate degree, I went to the University of Delaware to study Civil Engineering. I am an Upper St. Clair High School graduate.
I graduated from CMU with a 4.0, from UD as Summa Cum Laude, as well as from Upper St. Highschool as Valedictorian of the 2012 class. My strengths have always been in mathematics, both in courses and standardized testing. I am very personable, patient, and an effective communicator who is looking to help those in need of a little boost in their math subjects or practice for an upcoming standardized exam. My experience with teaching is vast as I was a teacher's assistant in college for students my age and a religious education teacher in high school for elementary and middle school children. I also was a ride operator in Kiddie Land at Kennywood Park, which gave me a lot of experience with interacting and being responsible for children.
My hobbies include bike-riding, soccer, movies, reading, video games, fantasy football, and watching my two favorite teams, the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Pittsburgh Steelers. I love Harry Potter and Game of Thrones, but my all time favorite has to be The Lord of the Rings.
