I started tutoring Japanese about 8 years ago, and I began tutoring ESL, writing and study skills at SUNY New Paltz's tutoring center. I like to help students discover their own inner strength and guide them toward a path of academic success.
I am currently a graduate student studying Japanese at UMass Amherst. My field of interest is Japanese pedagogy and technology in the classroom. I have studied Japanese for well over 10 years, both as part of my undergraduate program and as an independent learner. I am currently working toward the JLPT N1 as ACTFL's OPI at the advanced level.
