My journey as an educator began in 2001. Since that time, I have acquired a Master's Degree in teaching and a certificate to teach in Colorado and Illinois. I have taught first, fourth, and fifth grade as well as middle school and high school. I have worked with students with learning differences and mental/emotional disorders.
I have been tutoring full time since 2011. Developing a relationship with each child is essential to our success. I work to establish clear expectations between myself and the parents, and I lay out a concise plan to meet those expectations. Students have a lot of fun working with me and vice versa. Parents, students and their teachers are commonly shocked by how much improvement takes place while working with me. My schedule is flexible as are my strategies to achieving the best results for each student. I do not use a blanket curriculum, because I believe each student deserves a personalized experience.
