I firmly believe that anyone willing to put in the time, effort, and patience will be able to master whatever subject they choose to pursue. You can, you should, you will.

In that vein, my purpose as a tutor is to assist you in learning material to the point that you will become proficient yourself. My goal is to eventually to become obsolete, like a pair of training wheels if you like bicycling metaphors.

Don't give up! :)

Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

The first session is all about setting up expectations and goals. You determine where we're starting, where we want to go, and how we plan on getting there. The most important component is being realistic but not self-deprecating. You are not where you want to be, yet. But you will be, and feeling as if you are in control of where you are going is vital for any student of any discipline.
