I have a BA in English and an MS in Library and Information Science, from The University of Texas at Austin and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, respectively. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about writing and grammar. As an undergraduate, I was a part of the English Honors Program, which featured small, writing-intensive seminars. My classmates and I would often share our writing, and help workshop each other's essays. An interest in education combined with my love for research and helping people led me to library school, where I worked at the reference desk of the science library, helping patrons find citations and resources. I currently work as a project manager, where I help schedule meetings, organize team resources, and keep groups on track. If you need help with organization or strategies for time management, I would love to help you with that as well.
