My goal as a Tutor is to encourage students to enjoy learning new concepts and skills. I have had the great opportunity to teach my classmates during college as a Teaching Assistant. I hope I can continue to convey my excitement for serving others as a Tutor.

I have a Bachelors of Science degree and Masters of Business Administration degree - both in business administration. I spent several years working in sales management before beginning my Masters degree. During both of my academic experiences, I have helped students in various business, mathematics, and English subjects.

Outside of school and work, I have spent time with Big Brothers and Big Sisters as well as volunteering to raise awareness for cancer research.

I look forward to serving you and helping you become a better learner!

Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

I teach through practice and hard work. I am both a teacher and a coach. We work together to move forward.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

Determine our strengths and our skills in need of development. Then, we build strengths equally as we address skills to be developed.

How can you help a student become an independent learner?

Encouragement. Encouragement. Encouragement. Provide the student a degree of belief and support.
