I enjoy helping someone to get where he/she wants to or needs to go. I believe everyone is unique; therefore there isn't just one method in dong anything. Everyone is motivated by something. It is just a matter of finding what that motivation is.

What is your teaching philosophy?
Find out the root of the problem and work to eradicate that. Not everyone has the same problem; therefore, one cannot use the same method to teach or to learn.

That would depend on what motivates the student. It would have to be tailored to the student, i.e., grades, college admission, parental approval, etc.

Find out what is the student is struggling with - vocabulary, sentence structures, disabilities, etc., and go from there.

Understand the student and discover his needs.

Find the student's motivation.

Test what the student comprehends by asking questions regarding the materials learned.
