I recently finished my third year of undergraduate education at Hope College, Holland MI. I am pursuing a double major in electrical engineering and sociology as well as a minor in mathematics. Tutoring has always been very fulfilling for me and I have worked as a math tutor, both privately and in the employ of Hope College, for several years.
Pursuing my engineering major and mathematics minor has provided me with the technical skill necessary for effective tutoring. Additionally, my experience working with students from all backgrounds has honed my ability to explain difficult concepts in language which will be understandable to a particular student.
As an undergraduate student, I recently took the ACT and am currently enrolled in several math, science, and engineering classes. As such, I am uniquely equipped to help students excel in math for either their ACT or SAT as well as to provide them the tools they will require to succeed in their college careers. Not only will do I provide expert and individualized guidance in the complex field of mathematics but I can give your student tips on other important aspects of success in college like effective study habits.
If you or your student would like a bit of help with math I would love to give you some assistance. Hope to meet you soon!
