I have varied and extensive teaching experience, from AmeriCorps to Special Education to Adult Education. Currently, I am working in an adult education program helping students learn reading, writing, social studies, and grammar in preparation for their high school equivalency exam.
I graduated from Haverford College in 2011, where I studied sociology and was an All-American and helped lead the team to a national championship in cross country. Education and teaching are my passions, and I look at every new teaching experience as a learning opportunity and a chance to make a positive impact on a young person's life. Generally, I work better when I am tutoring writing, literature, or history; however, I am comfortable working with students in most subjects.
In terms of personal interests, I love doing anything outside. Fishing, hiking, running, and camping are some of my favorite activities. There's nothing I love more than being in a beautiful place in nature. I also love all forms of music and am teaching myself guitar.
