From the moment I entered High School, I knew I wanted to be in the medical field. The love I have for sports, as well as helping people, drew me to the field of Athletic Training. Upon graduation of High School, I went on to get my Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. I cannot thank the University enough for the opportunities and experiences it gave me. The countless hours spent in cadaver labs, training rooms, clinics, and classrooms have laid such a solid foundation on me. The University also led me to my internship in Columbus, Ohio, at Nationwide Children's Hospital. There, I had the privilege to intern with the sports medicine program. The opportunity to work for such a great program was amazing! After graduation from college, I wanted to further my education as a practitioner. I then decided to move to St. Louis to enroll at Logan College of Chiropractic! I have finished my first year and am loving every minute of it! I cannot wait to take the knowledge I have gained and teach it to others! I am very strong in Anatomy and Physiology! I probably have had over 15 classes of A and P throughout my college career, and every class I learn something new! I have so many drawings, charts, as well as fun ways to remember those important concepts! I am also very strong in other medical areas such as nutrition, pathology, and basic sciences. I am looking forward to helping out others because I know exactly what it was like when I was in their shoes!
