I am a native Chinese speaker who came to America to pursue my Ph.D in Food and Nutrition Sciences from China in my early 20s. After working as a Senior Scientist in the Food and Flavor Industry Research and Development for 17 years, I quit my job five years ago. I have since been homeschooling my children from Elementary school to High school. I have various Chinese tutoring and teaching experiences in Johns Hopkins University CTY program, local Chinese schools, one on one tutoring from Preschool to High School, online learning, local home school coop groups, etc. In addition to my passion in teaching and tutoring, I enjoy many interests from traveling, reading, hiking, skating, bicycling, and chatting with friends.
