I am currently an undergraduate Chemistry and Biology major at Metropolitan State University of Denver with a graduation date of May 2014. Within the next few years I would like to start a doctoral program in either Pharmacology or Medicinal Chemistry. My professional goal is to use organic synthesis and computer programming to design novel drugs. Other than being a student of the sciences, I enjoy cycling around Denver, playing Frisbee, guitar, and just being social in general! My prior tutoring experience comes from being a Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader through MSU Denver. This position requires me to attend the lectures for the class I am tutoring and to host a one hour group study session before each lecture. I have done this for two semesters now and have been given very good reviews in each semester. In April 2013, I attended a national chemistry conference in New Orleans to present the benefits of attending such a program. Tutoring has so far been a very enjoyable and fulfilling experience and I look forward to working with you or your children in the near future!
