My name is Patrick and I am a third year law student at Saint Louis University. Prior to attending law school, I earned a BA in English and a BS in Linguistics at Truman State University.
While at Truman, I helped tutor and mentor foreign exchange students as they acclimated to studying in America. I also worked at an orphanage during a semester study abroad experience in Ghana, West Africa where I provided both one-on-one and classroom instruction to students from 3-15 years of age. I am currently a teaching assistant for a law school professor where I provide incoming law students academic support including study skills, time management and basic legal analysis skills.
For me, tutoring is about unlocking one's unique path to achieving their academic goals. Both as a tutor and a student, few things are as gratifying as those light-bulb moments when everything comes together and clicks. Whether it is ACT Math or writing an essay, there is never only one correct method, and as your tutor I will help you find the method that works best for you!
