The student had a test that she did not do well on and we went over all the ones she missed. We went over adding and subtracting multiple numbers to get her ready to retake her test. We are going to work on also improving her memorization of simple addition and subtraction facts.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Stephanie in La Mesa, CA
The student had geometry homework and review sheet for a quiz. She first worked on her homework which used a new postulate that wouldn't be on the quiz. After her homework we worked on her proof review sheet. We specifically focused on examples that used theorems she wasn't very comfortable with. After the session she said she was feeling confident about the quiz. I feel that she was able to complete her proofs with less guidance from me and will do fine on her quiz.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Denise in La Mesa, CA
We're getting ready for the exams, so even though we were working through problems without multiple choice options, I coached student through test techniques, such as answer elimination and how to find the correct answer via the fastest method, even if the fastest method doesn't show complete work. To counter that, we also did complete full problems showing all work. We worked on proper and improper fractions, prime and composite numbers and definition of area, perimeter and radius.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Sylvia in La Mesa, CA
This was our first session. I sent the student a diagnostic test for him to complete so I could gauge what his needs were. Out of the 56 questions, he only missed 2. There were some questions that he guessed on so we reviewed all the problems that he had problems with. He was able to correct the answers. We did more work with fractions, decimals, and percentages. When we meet tomorrow, he will have a speed drill to review what he learned today.
