Trigonometry Tutoring review by Chris in Johns Creek, GA
Worked on correcting a least common multiple test that she'd had some trouble on; I think we made some good progress. Worked on unit rates (dollars per pound, miles per hour, etc.) and how to find one missing one given the other two -- both with a chart approach and then incorporating the underlying math principles behind it.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Devon in Johns Creek, GA
The student stated that he only had one piece of math homework. This was to re-write a five part problem about expected ratios for an individual playing baseball given previous statistics. He had to re-write this problem using another sport; he chose basketball. We talked through it, and he seemed to have a better understanding once we finished. We did a quick review of the triangle flashcards adding to ten. He knew them all except the family of 4, 6, and 10. He said he has been practicing once a day with his grandma. We then went on to practice adding using tens and parts of tens. I extended the exercise to two digit addition problems, which he was able to do with little difficulty. I see progress!

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Monica in Johns Creek, GA
We covered polar coordinates and complex numbers and trigonometry. The student struggled a bit with the new concepts merely because she had not been taught the formulas in class. We went over every kind of question she had to do for practice, and she seemed to understand the material by the end of the session. I left her to do the rest of the problems in her workbook.
