Trigonometry Tutoring review by Saad in Bergen County, NJ
Chapter 9 is continued onto sections 5 and 6, which cover classifications of conic sections. Student recalled all of the previous sections (1 through 4) perfectly. More mental exercises were provided to remember how and what to look for when classifying equations. Student did an excellent job. Using the discriminant and completing the square method, the student practiced more problems. The last section consisted of solving systems of equations using substitution and elimination. We also reviewed the chapter review test. Student has shown improvement and will be receiving scores soon to note progress.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Liny in Bergen County, NJ
The student and I worked on practice tests together. He has informed me that working on the tests has become easier and it reinforces all the topics that he has learned. The student is doing very well for the most part on the practice tests. Some questions he needs a little guidance, but overall he can do most of the problems on his own.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Daniel in Bergen County, NJ
The student and I continued where we left off from last week, expanding his understanding of the unit circle. We also looked at angles, and how to convert between radians and degrees. The student did a good job following along as I explained the concepts. I left the student with practice problems from his text book, primarily dealing with standard angle measurement on the coordinate grid in both degrees and radians, and converting between the two methods of measurement.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Chris in Bergen County, NJ
The student spent the session working on his extra credit assignment. The problems we covered mostly dealt with probability, creating functions, unit conversions, and general reasoning. We discussed the various concepts as they came up and devoted a little time to each one. I tried to give him a framework he could use to systematically go through both probability and unit conversion type problems. He did not finish his extra credit assignment before the end of our session, but I will meet with him again next week to complete it. I asked that he go through it and try to answer the problems before our session so we can focus on the problems that he found challenging or made mistakes on.
