I graduated with honors from Wheaton College (IL) with a B.A. in English, Writing and a Certificate in Early Church History. While studying, I worked as a Writing Consultant where I empowered undergraduate and graduate students to write clearly and persuasively and to read their own work with a critical eye for revision. I believe each student has the capacity to write effectively and I am passionate about providing the skills to assist students to develop their own voice.In addition to Writing, I especially enjoy tutoring Literature, Reading, and ESL/ELL. I am particularly equipped to tutor high school, undergraduate, and graduate level students, but I also have experience with younger age groups. In the fall of 2007, I fulfilled a dream by attending the University of Notre Dame. There I majored in Classics and Pre-Professional Studies. Following my college career, I obtained a Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University in Downers Grove.I have always been fascinated with biology and chemistry and how microscopic interactions lead to the world we see around us. I love learning about all areas of science and this passion drives my excitement for tutoring. As someone who was able to go to his dream school, I am committed to helping everyone I tutor to have the same opportunity.

I am a graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics. My academic interests while at Barnard were focused on microeconomics and statistical research. I am a believer that a strong education can propel you to achieve your goals. I think that anyone can learn math and logical thinking with a little help. I have experience tutoring high school students in Algebra I and was always helping my fellow classmates with their economics problem sets in college. While working professionally, my job demanded strong technical skills in data programming. Each year, I taught my coworkers the necessary programming skills both through classroom setting lectures and through one-on-one tutoring. In my free time I love going to spin class, learning how to cook, and watching MSNBC!

I have 23 years of teaching public education experience. Recently retired. My degree in Music Education all level. PK-12th. My major instruments are piano, trumpet, a little guitar. I can also teach music theory from beginner to intermediate, along with song writing lyrics too. I have taught on various platforms English as a Second Language, My students range from many ages, I use Engoo, starfall, materials to teach reading with phonics, ABC, and 123's. I taught on vipkid before China took that opportunity of tutoring away from Native speakers. I have taught for 3 years on various platforms. I also have a Masters of Divinity, in Biblical studies, I was a pastor in a church for a while, then went back to teaching, education of elem. children. Come learn English with me, or music.
