I am a graduate of Rice University with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy, and a minor in Neuroscience. My previous tutoring experiences have primarily focused on college level physics, math, and chemistry; AP Calculus, AP Physics, and AP Chemistry; the ACT and SAT college entrance exams; general mathematics at the high school level; and middle school level math and english for state standardized testing. Additionally, I have experience working with students with learning differences including dyslexia, ADHD, and ASD. As someone who loves learning, I am a firm believer in making our meetings enjoyable as well as educational. STEM subjects in particular have the reputation for being boring and complicated, but I love that as a tutor I can help students make sense of the topics and find the fun!

My name is Raghav and I am excited to be your tutor. With years of experience, I've uncovered valuable strategies that helped me excel, and I'm eager to share them with you. Tutoring is my passion, and I'm dedicated to helping students like you reach their academic goals. Having successfully worked with over 100 students from various countries and subjects for over a year, I'm confident I can assist you in achieving your goals. Since each student learns differently, I adapt my teaching to your unique learning style, ensuring that you grasp the material thoroughly. At the moment, I am studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and I am a private pilot working on my instrument rating(I'd love to chat about it with you). With me as your tutor, you will get someone patient and willing to explain everything in detail. I am particularly specialized in Math such as AP Calculus amd beyond, Sciences such as AP Physics, and AP Economics as well as SAT/ACT.
Mechanical engineering at UT means Yucheng works with polynomial, exponential, and trigonometric models in applied settings — designing systems where function behavior isn't abstract but determines whether something actually works. He brings that practical lens to AP Pre-Calculus, breaking down the course's modeling and rate-of-change questions so students see the reasoning the exam rewards. Rated 4.9 by students.
Hi! I love to help students with the subject I love most: Math. I find joy in finding patterns, providing explanation in the world around me, and above all else, learning something new. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics (concentration in Statistics) at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I've tutored virtually every high school/introductory college course available for about 4 years, from Algebra I to Calculus (I , II , III) to Introductory Statistics. I believe in not only teaching how to solve a problem, but making sure that a student truly understands *why* a given method works. Instead of just learning how to drive the metaphorical car, I show the student what happens under the hood. This philosophy has resulted in every single one of my students not only improving their scores, but more importantly attaining an underlying confidence in the subject material.
As a dedicated tutor with over 7 years of experience, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biophysics from UCLA as well as a M.S. in Medical Science from Baylor University which underpins my expertise in subjects like AP Biology, AP Calculus BC, and College Physics. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring complex concepts. I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals and develop a genuine interest in the sciences and mathematics. I strive to connect with each student individually, tailoring my approach to their unique learning styles and needs. I love inspiring the next "Aha" moment in my students and helping them not only succeed in their classes but build a deeper appreciation and passion for the material. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy hiking and reading, which helps me bring real-world context into my lessons, making learning both relevant and enjoyable.
Hello! My name is Srishaan Iyengar and I'm a senior at Round Rock High School. Not only do I tutor here, but I also tutor at the local Mathnasium. Some of my favorite hobbies include playing basketball, video games, watching TV shows, and hanging out with my friends.
Having earned a BS in Biology with High Honors from New Mexico State, Kayley knows the math-science pipeline firsthand — AP Pre-Calculus concepts like exponential growth models and trigonometric cycles showed up constantly in her genetics and ecology coursework. She leans into that cross-disciplinary angle, using real biological scenarios to make abstract function behavior feel concrete. Her approach zeroes in on building the graphical intuition the AP framework rewards, especially around transformations and end behavior.
Need help with STEM? I'm Houston, an Electrical Engineering student with years of experience teaching Math, SAT Prep, Computer Science, and Robotics. I've mastered 17 AP subjects and currently specialize in advanced mathematics and physics. I focus on practical problem-solving and clear communication to help you get the grades you want. From coding to calculus, I can help you bridge the gap between confusion and mastery. Let's get to work!
Before she found her footing in STEM, Riya struggled with the same abstract leaps that trip up most AP Pre-Calculus students — making sense of how trigonometric, exponential, and polynomial functions actually behave instead of just memorizing formulas. That personal experience shapes how she teaches the course now as a Computer Science major at Texas A&M, where she breaks down composition and transformation questions into concrete, step-by-step reasoning that builds real understanding. She's especially sharp at helping students bridge the gap between algebraic manipulation and the graphical interpretation the AP framework demands.
Designing rocket trajectories and orbital models in his Aerospace Engineering program at UT Austin meant Pranad lived inside the trigonometric, polynomial, and exponential functions that AP Pre-Calculus is built around — they weren't textbook abstractions but tools for predicting how things move through space. He teaches the course by anchoring each function family to that intuition, especially when students hit the conceptual jump from computing answers to interpreting what a model's behavior actually means. His emphasis on connecting algebraic manipulation to graphical reasoning lines up directly with what the AP framework rewards.
Being a math and physics major at MIT means Bereket doesn't just know the polynomial, trigonometric, and exponential models in AP Pre-Calculus — he uses them as building blocks in courses that assume total fluency. He teaches the course by slowing down at the exact moments where students lose the thread, particularly when function composition and transformations shift from mechanical steps to questions about behavior and interpretation. That patience with conceptual understanding over formula memorization is what makes his approach click for students preparing for the AP exam.
Northwestern's engineering curriculum threw Katherine into differential equations and systems modeling early, which means she built her fluency with polynomial, trigonometric, and exponential functions under real problem-solving pressure — not just in a precalculus classroom. She uses that background to teach AP Pre-Calculus with an emphasis on function composition and rate-of-change reasoning, walking students through how to interpret what a model is doing before worrying about computing an answer. Her engineering instinct for breaking complex problems into sequential, manageable steps translates directly to the multi-part analysis questions the AP exam favors.

I love to teach. I love young minds and fresh brains. Those are just like clean sheets of papers I can draw anything I like. I really like to help young people to achieve their full capacities with my long experience of teaching. I am very patient and good at explaining complex concepts in simple terms. I am looking forward to meeting students who need my help.
I am a graduate from Rochester Institute of Technology with a master's in Game Design and Development. My passions lie in everything related to games and mathematics. In the past, I have tutored various subjects in mathematics throughout high school and college, including but not limited to Algebra, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Calculus, Discrete Mathematics, Mathematics of Graphical Simulation, and Linear Algebra. As for technology, I am more than happy to reach out for help in Web Development (HTML, CSS, Javascript) or C# programming. I believe that every person can learn any topic. While every individual has different tastes, strengths, and weaknesses, there is no such thing as an "incapability" to know a subject. Education often possesses a guise of anti-fun, but I can promise you that all topics can be engaging, and I am willing to show you how engaging mathematics and technology can be. As a Game Designer, I have a deep interest in both playing games and making games. This includes games of all kinds: video games, board games, tabletop role-playing games, trading card games, miniatures, and even some sports like tennis or ping pong. Games act as a fantastic teaching tool. They teach by design without users recognizing. It is always a satisfying moment when somebody says "I learned that word from Magic" or "D&D taught me that." Remember: you can succeed. If something is important to you, then it's always worthwhile.
Howdy! My name is Karthik, and I look forward to meeting you. I've been tutoring for over 10 years, and am excited to give you the tools to achieve success! I've seen it all, from frustrated parents who need their 8 year old to learn how to read, to high school/college students just needing a grade boost to pass a class, to retirees who finally have enough time to pick up that language they never got around to. I've personally taken courses on, passed tests for, and used the knowledge in real life for all the subjects I tutor, so I know not just how to learn, but also how to apply. If you'd like to get your personlized gameplan to never need tutoring again, help me help you and book a session today!
When I was in high school, I remember seeing the joy of my math teachers when they would teach in class. This inspired me to become a high school math teacher. The first step was becoming a peer tutor to my classmates. This lead to tutoring math to college students. Then tutoring students while working as a TA. Then I worked as a data scientist which not only did I understand more how to apply math in the workspace, but also learned how to explain math concepts to coworkers without a strong math background. This helped me to shape my tutoring philosophy to relate to the person being tutored and this opened the door to me teaching high school calculus 1 & calculus 2! I am currently teaching precalculus at a community college.
I'm an expert tutor with 20+ years of experience. I make math understandable and easy for diverse learners. Some of my students who struggle with math eventually become math majors! I'm expert in SAT/ACT and other admissions tests. All of my students improve their test scores and some even get perfect scores. I'm a former research scientist who enjoys tutoring and have the gift of teaching.
Training AI models at Western University means Syed regularly implements the polynomial, trigonometric, and exponential functions that AP Pre-Calculus covers — fitting curves to data, tuning activation functions, and modeling nonlinear relationships all require genuine fluency with how these function families behave. His electrical engineering background at LUMS added a layer of signal-processing intuition that makes him especially sharp on trigonometric identities and periodic modeling, two areas where the AP exam demands more than rote computation. He walks students through the reasoning behind composition and transformation questions until the logic feels automatic, not memorized.
Hi, I'm Laura! I graduated summa cum laude from Eastern Washington University with a bachelor's of science degree in mathematics and a minor in sociology. There, I earned the Frances B. Huston award, the most prestigious award given to graduating students, for excellence in academics, leadership, and community service. From there, I became a student at the University of Washington (UW), earning my Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and a position as a PhD student in the department. I was also awarded the Carl S. Pearson award for academic excellence in the Master's program. I have been working as a PhD student since then, with expertise in all types of math including algebra, calculus, linear algebra, and numerical analysis, among others. I also have years of experience coding in both python and matlab! I spent three years as an undergraduate teaching assistant, helping teach both high school and college level math classes. I also taught multiple sections of calculus at the University of Washington as a Master's student, and I have served as a teaching assistant throughout my time at UW. My favorite thing about these positions were the opportunities to work one-on-one with students, developing new approaches to help them understand difficult concepts. I love coming up with new examples or intuitive ways of thinking through math problems. I think everybody can learn math, and I love helping students of all ages and backgrounds achieve their mathematical goals! I have a number of resources to use in lesson planning, and I also welcome any resources or suggestions provided by students and parents to help tailor the experience to your needs. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a session!
I am a sophomore at Vanderbilt University studying Applied Mathematics and Economics, with a strong passion for helping students build confidence in math. As a Course Assistant for calculus, I work closely with students to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and create an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions. I focus on building a strong foundation while also helping students develop problem-solving strategies they can apply independently. Having worked with students at different levels, I understand that everyone learns differently, and I tailor my approach to fit each student's needs. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them feel more confident and capable in math.
Hello! My name is AJ Eustace. I have five years of private tutoring experience working with students from middle school through college. I graduated from the University of Virginia with a double major in Statistics and Economics, and I'm currently enrolled in a Master of Social Work program at Ohio State. I specialize in helping students succeed in their math courses, particularly in algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus.
I'm a graduate of Fordham University where I earned degrees in both Mathematics and Music. I have years of experience tutoring students from middle to high school in all subjects, especially English, Math, and French. In my free time, I love playing and listening to music, spending time with friends, and watching Netflix :)
I am a graduate of the University of Florida as well as the University of Washington, where I earned my Bachelors and Masters degree in Applied Mathematics, respectively. Since graduating, I have worked in different I.T. capacities such as Quality assurance and programming, but I have always made time to tutor students in math. Helping others to do math is one of my passions because I know how good it feels to go from "what is this math?" to "this actually makes sense!". Although I tutor all math courses ranging from 7th grade level through undergraduate level, algebra has to be my favorite math to tutor because I see it as the starting point of mathematics; it's the course where students are introduced to conceptual math. Getting a solid foundation in algebra affects all future math courses as well as science courses. Outside of tutoring, I like to work out, play blitz chess, and watch basketball and football.
