- I am an experienced EMT with over three years of field experience and a passion for helping others learn.
- These experiences taught me that every student learns differently, and I enjoy adapting my teaching style to meet each individual's needs.
About Me
Throughout my career, I have served as a Field Training Officer, Operations Supervisor, and Orientation Coordinator, where I trained and mentored new EMTs entering the profession. My goal is to make challenging concepts easy to understand while building the confidence students need to succeed both on the NREMT exam and in real-world patient care. I strive to create a supportive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing the critical-thinking skills that make for exceptional EMTs. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a student gain confidence and achieve their goals, and I would be excited to help others begin their careers in EMS.
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at the beach, where I can relax and recharge. I am currently relearning the violin, an instrument I learned when I was little but wish I had stuck to, and I hope to continue growing as a musician. Music has always been an important part of my life—I previously sang in a high school chorus and performed in talent shows and showcases, experiences that helped build my confidence and love for collaboration. I also love traveling with my husband, who is currently in the hiring process to become a firefighter, and we enjoy exploring new places together whenever we have the opportunity. At home, I adore my miniature Schnauzer, Kai, who keeps me active and never fails to brighten my day. I value lifelong learning and am always looking for opportunities to grow, whether through medicine, music, travel, or new experiences.
