My focus at Varsity Tutors is Public Speaking and English. In my career as a sustainability consultant and adjunct professor (Northwestern University), I've had many opportunities to give presentations ranging from elevator speeches to workshops, and 3-hour college courses. Content, structure, and delivery are all important parts of effective public speaking, and also for writing. I'm active in Toastmasters, and have been awarded the highest education level, Distinguished Toastmaster. I have a passion for teaching and want to be a resource for students rather than teacher that relies on rote memorization.
