I am an experienced and passionate educator with over three years of teaching experience abroad, working with students from 1st through 9th grade across a wide range of subjects. During my time teaching English overseas, I developed a deep appreciation for diverse learning styles and cultural perspectives, and I learned how to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student where they are academically and emotionally. My teaching background includes English grammar, reading comprehension, literature, science, philosophy, debate, and critical thinking skills. With older students, I especially enjoy guiding discussions, encouraging curiosity, and helping them develop analytical and independent thinking. I strive to create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing at their own pace. My goal as a tutor is to help students improve their grades and build confidence, curiosity, and a genuine connection to learning that lasts beyond our sessions.
