I believe in supporting learning through encouragement, strategy, and patience. I earned my degree in Computer Science at Georgia State University, where I built a well rounded academic foundation and experience in mentorship, teaching, and volunteering. I currently tutor K-12 math and SAT Math and Reading comprehension. My tutoring style is student-focused, flexible, and immersive. I aim to understand and meet students where they are so that they don't feel behind or overwhelmed. I believe in creating a dialogue or discussion to tackle challenging concepts and create an engaging environment. I'll also combine other techniques, such as analogies, examples, step by step breakdowns, visuals, and more to provide many points of connection to the topic.

In my free time, I love to do relaxing and creative activities, such as painting, writing, and cooking. I also enjoy playing volleyball and going on walks in the park with friends! I like to explore new media as well, including music, books, and shows. My other interests include learning about math, science, and languages!
