About Me

I received a BA in Education and English, with a concentration in ESL at Calvin College, and a MA as a Reading Specialist from Central Michigan University. For the past 25 years, I have successfully taught students in Grades K-8 in a public school setting, as well as supporting high school students as they work toward English literacy and/or fluency. My belief is that students deserve to have a caring, well-educated adult to support them as they study and grow educationally, and I have had the honor of having developed great teacher-student relationships. I look forward to working with you soon, and am eager to see you succeed!
