About Me

I am a mathematics teacher in my seventh year of teaching. I have been tutoring for five years. I received my Bachelors in Mathematics with a minor in Secondary Education at The University of NC at Charlotte. I received my Master's of Science in Special Education at The State University of NY at New Paltz. While I tutor a broad range of mathematics subjects, I am most passionate about Algebra 1 and Geometry. In my experience helping struggling students feel confident and comfortable with their problem-solving skills are what I am passionate about. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, baking and running.
