About Me

I am a graduate of Arizona State University. I received my Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering. Since graduation, I have worked for tech companies developing mobile applications and taught a project management class at Trine University. I previously taught Java and Python programming classes to undergraduate students as a graduate teaching assistant at ASU. I am most passionate about tutoring Java, Math, and English. I took my first Java programming class in high school, which led me to pursue software engineering as a career. I have always enjoyed learning math in school and knew that I wanted to incorporate that into my studies as well. I am also good at writing essays, which is a valuable skill for any profession. I am very passionate about helping students grow as individuals and engaging them in the learning process. My teaching style consists of presenting lessons that are tailored to individual students or groups of students based on their needs and what they would be most interested in learning. In my spare time, I enjoy reading books, hiking up north, and spending quality time with family and friends.
