About Me

I enjoy helping students because I was one for a long time. I am well acquainted with both the panic of being unprepared and the satisfaction of being prepared for exams. I have a Bachelors in Honors Math and Honors Physics from University of Michigan Ann Arbor and a PhD in Math from Michigan State University. I have experience tutoring in Math and Physics at Michigan State University and University of Michigan. The subjects I tutor are Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and Economics. The core of my teaching philosophy is my belief that every student has value and can feel excitement at learning new things. I try to keep applications in mind and view math as a tool to model the real world. My favorite tutoring style is to guide students through problems. The goal is to allow the student to eventually solve problems better by themselves by providing feedback on example problems.
