About Me

Sharon White, M.S.A., B.F.A. I am a K12 educator and experienced tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and succeed academically. I specialize in elementary and middle school math, reading comprehension, ELA and test preparation. I have taught 4th grade as a matha and science teacher. I've specifically focused on elementary resource, working one-on-one and small group based on student needs. I'm experienced in phonetics and reading needs. As a classroom educator and remote tutor, I have worked with students from elementary through high school in both traditional and online learning environments. I focus on breaking down challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps so students feel supported while developing independent learning skills. My sessions are encouraging, engaging, and tailored to each student's needs. My goal is not only to improve grades, but to help students feel confident in their ability to learn and solve problems.
