About Me
Born in Canada and now residing in Knoxville, Tennessee, I have committed a great deal of my life to the field of materials science and engineering! Following the completion of my undergraduate in materials engineering from the University of Toronto, I accepted an offer from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville to study nuclear materials engineering at a graduate level. I've always had a passion for learning and transferring knowledge to others through informal conversations and formal teaching environments. I'm most passionate about fundamental materials science and teaching its principles through examples relating to real life scenarios. I enjoy drawing on my background as an engineer and researcher to develop interesting lessons that are both informative, and enjoyable to participate in.
Hobbies & Interests
In my personal life, I'm a passionate rock climber and ceramics artist. I spend my weekends traveling around to all the beautiful climbing destinations around the Southeast and fantasizing about my next trip to climb in the desert.
