After receiving my degree, I had the opportunities to travel and live in Japan, South Korea and the Philippines. I taught English at Technical High School in Tokyo to prepare Japanese youth for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and catered to students from all levels (kindergarten to adults) in a private institute in Daejeon, Korea to help improve their conversational English. In my experience, helping struggling students prepare for the EIKEN (an English Proficiency Standardized Test), we always seem to have the most fun prepping for the interview stage of the exams. While I can tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Spanish, French, History and Linguistics. My passion and discipline for learning foreign languages were the driving forces I was able to achieve fluency for some of the languages I took the effort to learn to this day. These are the same core values I also want to instill in all of my students. By inspiring them to achieve their goals and reminding them the importance of discipline and consistency, success is sure to follow. Some of my interests include learning more about world history and different cultures, traveling, and playing soccer.
