I am a graduate of the University of North Texas, where I received my Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Finance and Financial Services. After a successful career in the Finance Industry, I decided to pursue my other passion in Computer Science, and began working for Fortune 500 companies such as Dell and IBM as a Network Software Engineer. I should mention that I have my certifications in A+, Network+, CompTIA IT Operations Specialist CIOS Stackable, MCP, IBM AIX, and AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Solutions Architect Associate . A few years later, I caught the travel bug and decided that I wanted to travel and teach English, so I obtained my TESL Certification from Oxford Seminars at the University of St. Edwards in Austin, Texas and moved to Taiwan where I began my ESL teaching career, where I taught ages 7 to 22 years old. In addition to Taiwan, I have lived and worked in Guatemala, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Peru, and I am fluent in Spanish. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, my primary focus is on professional certifications such as A+, Network+, AWS; however, I also help prepare for students with TOEFL and SAT entrance exams, as well as helping foreign business professionals improve their Business and Legal English. I am also a Business and Marketing Strategist and Consultant with over 15 years of experience. I also enjoy cooking, traveling, reading, writing, learning new languages, nature hikes, waterfalls, Permaculture, Finance/Investing/Cryptocurrency, and taking care of my two beautiful dogs.
