I am a graduate of the awesome Texas State University (Southwest Texas State University). I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aquatic Biology with an emphasis and minor in Chemistry. In my free time I love to help people, which is why I became a tutor. I had been tutoring for years for my friend's children in church and youth programs, so I decided to join Varsity Tutors to have more of an impact. Education is key. I'm passionate about all things science, and love to make learning fun. I'm enthusiastic and energetic when teaching so be prepared to have fun and learn at the same time!

I love to play volleyball, basketball, and work out. I am a music director at a church so singing and all things music. I love to travel and see the world as much as I can to absorb and learn from other cultures. I also love to read and put together jig-saw puzzles.
