After graduation, I attended Texas A&M College of Dentistry, where I tutored high schoolers and undergraduates who were preparing for the Reading Comprehension section of the Dental Admissions Test (DAT). I was honored with Tutor of the Year award by the students and faculty members of that cohort. I am passionate about learning and sharing the developing notions of what it means to be human. This is what led me to teach Anatomy & Physiology to high schoolers, where I was awarded New Teacher of the Year at the school. My philosophy is to learn through teaching, reflection and meditation. Outside of the classroom I teach mindful movement as a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor. As a tutor, I am motivated to meet the student at their current skill level and facilitate in their pursuit of excellence.

I enjoy rapping, meditating, traveling, and exploring nature.
