I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Science from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2004 and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University in 2010. I have taught all ages, from kindergarten, to high school, to adult learners, both in a classroom setting, as well as in a homeschooling setting and in individual tutoring sessions. My joy and passion is teaching, especially when I can see the students that I work with grow in their understanding and knowledge and really start to "get it". Not only am I teaching reading, writing, math, and other specialized skills, I am also instilling confidence, self esteem, and belief into the students I work with. It is so very exciting for me to see students develop and blossom over time. My hope is that my passion for teaching will be felt and that I can connect with my students that will positively impact their academic futures, both in the short term and in the long term.
