Winter magic meets paper art! In this fun seasonal class, learners will fold and cut unique paper snowflakes, from simple to more complex. Once they learn the basics, learners will experiment and discover the amazing ways their cut designs transform when unfolded! By the end of class, participants will have a collection of their own unique paper snowflakes to hang or use in other works of art.
Materials needed: White copy paper or printer paper* (at least 10 sheets), scissors, glue stick, pencil, string or ribbon for hanging (optional) *Thinner paper like copy/printer paper works best for this class. Because we'll be folding the paper multiple times before cutting, heavier drawing paper or construction paper will be very difficult to work with.
