Leadership in high school doesn't look like one thing — and the students who wait to find out if they're "the leadership type" before trying often look up in 11th grade and realize they've missed the window to build anything meaningful. Lead Your Way is a course led by former Georgetown admissions representative and veteran college counselor Joanna Graham, designed for students in grades 7–10 to discover what leadership actually looks like for their personality, interests, and strengths — and build it deliberately. Students explore the full range of leadership styles and contexts, develop the specific skills that make leaders effective regardless of whether they're naturally outgoing, learn how to identify the environments where their particular brand of leadership can thrive, and build a year-by-year plan to develop genuine leadership experience before high school demands it and before college applications need to show it. Because the students who show up to 11th grade already leading something don't just have better applications — they have a genuinely richer high school experience.
