Today we went over her diagnostic test. We determined her strengths and weaknesses. From there we worked on what she got wrong and the concepts behind the questions. The topics we worked on included stoichiometry, kinetics, intermolecular forces, and gas laws. She has been highly motivated throughout all the sessions and has been studying the material I have provided to her. She has been improving as the days go on, and I believe she will reach her goal when she takes her IB exam.

I stopped and explained concepts that were either unknown or not understood as we went through the questions. These were written down for him to review later. Finally, I showed him online resources he could use to take practice tests and review material.

This resistance to change in motion is called inertia, and it is directly proportional to an object's mass. I then helped her solve through numerous problems dealing with Newton's Three Laws.
