Physiology Tutoring review by Terrence in Bridgeport, CT
We covered the material that the student has to go over for her next test, and talked about how she is doing in the class. She did especially well on the second test and brought her grade up a lot. There was not too much material to cover, but there were many ways to test it. At the end, I asked her different questions about it so that she could be familiar with how it might be tested and left her with some studying strategies for the material so she could do well.

We covered Kirchhoff's rule for current, and voltage. We started from the fundamentals of Kirchhoff's rule. I did not leave her with extra problems. By practicing more physics problems her algebra and physics will improve.

Physiology Tutoring review by Eric in Bridgeport, CT
Today's session was with both students. With the first student, I worked with her on stoichiometry and we went over her homework for chemistry. For the second student, we did a little bit of chemistry (ideal gas law equations) and a little math (more practice with radicals). Both have always been a pleasure to work with and they are really bright kids who will go far. For the second student, I focused on reinforcing what he knew on more complicated problems, and with the first, I helped her realize that with bigger stoichiometry problems, she needs to decide how to get to the answer before she starts the problem so she knows what unit conversions she needs to use.

Physiology Tutoring review by Jerilynn in Bridgeport, CT
We briefly reviewed the unit circle and the inverse trigonometric functions before focusing mainly on physics. We worked through some problems dealing with forces and acceleration and used point diagrams to show the forces acting on an object. We practiced using vector addition to combine the various forces acting on an object to find its final velocity. The student is doing well using force diagrams to show all of the individual forces acting on an object. He is also doing well splitting a vector into its components once he is able to determine that vector addition is needed.
