Physical Chemistry Tutoring review by Lauren in Gilbert, AZ
The student and I worked on gas stoichiometry and studied for her test on Friday. She did such a great job that we even got to do a little bit of ACT practice. She's going to try to finish an ACT practice test for next time.

Physical Chemistry Tutoring review by Kellie in Gilbert, AZ
Today we covered what factors affect the rate of dissolving, agitation, temperature, and surface area. We then reviewed how to solve for molarity using grams and liters. After completing about 10 practice problems, the student seemed to have a pretty good handle on how to approach the questions, and should be able to perform the calculations on her quiz in class tomorrow. She also worked on a geometry worksheet, which covered finding the midpoint, finding the length, as well as defining various quadrilaterals.

Today we reviewed for the student's upcoming test. Specifically the atomic model, light properties, and electronic structure. She has progressed substantially since we last met. I am expecting a big improvement on this test compared to others. Her ability to perform the math side of chemistry is excellent. I left her with no extra practice, and I have no concerns from this session.

Physical Chemistry Tutoring review by Michael in Gilbert, AZ
Today, we worked on net ionic equations in Chemistry. The student has started solubility, and this is a key aspect that will be needed for the entire unit. Afterwards, we switched over to Algebra, where he was finishing up the logarithms and exponential growth unit. I assigned him a pretest to check up and see if what sections he needs to study before his test at the end of this week.

Physical Chemistry Tutoring review by Sundeep in Gilbert, AZ
The student and I went over thermo-chemistry and IMF for her quiz she has tomorrow and her test she has on Friday. We went through several problems related to thermochemistry, specifically how to do q=mc(delta)T problems. She seemed to understand them well at the end of the session and should do well on her quiz tomorrow. She had more practice from her teacher so I did not assign any additional practice.

Physical Chemistry Tutoring review by Brett in Gilbert, AZ
The entire lesson was centered around quadratic equations: solving for vertex, axis of symmetry, roots, max and min. When we started the session, the student was most concerned about factoring and solving for the different information needed for word problems. We covered sketching graphs, plotting points, identifying the direction of the graph and how to apply quadratics to real world model situations. We completed the entire review together step by step, and she showed marked improvement on the concepts by the end of the lesson.
